There has been a lot of talk about invasive weeds this summer. What are they and what do they look like? Invasive weeds are plants not native to Rose Lake. Most lakes in our area have them and have lake management treatment plans. Here is a link to learn more about how to prevent the spread of invasive species from MSU Extension. In 2025, the Rose Lake Association will be treating to help control the wide spreading Purple Loosestrife. This is an upland plant on many resident’s shorelines.
